Woofer in beach town hostel

Cat's Pyjamas Whitianga / Auckland Other Accommodation Only(Know your rights) Cost of accommodation no experience necessary

Are you looking for an opportunity to work for accommodation? We have an opening! A perfect base for summer!

We are looking for an extra pair of hands to help us out over the Christmas period until late January (end date negotiable depending on circumstances).
Your duties will include pitching in with the cleaning of the hostel everyday for 2 hours (10am-12pm). This will include; cleaning the kitchen, cleaning the bathrooms, tidying the communal areas, helping out in the garden, changing bedding, supporting check-ins and check-outs etc.

In return, you will stay in one of our dorm beds and have access to all of our facilities. We’re the kind of hostel were people plan to stay for one night but end up staying a week! There are plenty of temporary working opportunities at the moment in Whitianga, so finding a paid
role outside of the hostel wouldn’t be difficult and we’re happy to offer support with this.

We are based near Hot Water Beach and Cathedral Cove.

Ideal start date 22nd December however this is also negotiable, if you’re interested and would like to discuss the role further call us on +64 210 544597 between 8am – 8pm.

This post is in accordance with new Government rules. WHV and IRD required. Please note, wages earnt in post are the exact equivalent of your accommodation.

Thank you!
