Tower Painter

SVR Power Ltd Nationwide Construction / Trades Paid position(Know your rights) $26.68 Experienced

EXPERIENCED TOWER PAINTER – NEW ZEALAND
URGENT

Howera or Whanganui

Rate: $26.68 / Overtime
Travel paid

Duties include:
• Inspect
• Repair
• Maintenance
• Protective coating

Key Tasks:
• Carry out work instructed by a supervisor.
• Rust and corrosion, Nuts and bolts inspections on towers.
• Abrasive blasting (rust removal), corrosion treatment and mitigation.
• Application of rust treatment coatings.
• Tower painting.
• Operating machinery i.e. water blasters, abrasive blasters and compressors.
• Safely climb Towers using height access equipment and tooling, under direct supervision of an E1 tradesman.
• Regularly inspect and review equipment allocated to ensure it is kept in optimum working condition
• Make recommendations to the site supervisor/Project manager regarding maintenance or improvements to existing equipment and/or acquisition of new equipment.
