Tourism Assistants needed.
If you have a positive and happy attitude and would like to join our team of fun people we have a few positions we need to fill.
Rainforest Retreat is a tourism business located in Franz Josef on the West Coast of the South Island. We have a large backpackers, Motels, Deluxe 5 star lodges a holiday park and our hugely popular monsoon bar & restaurant. We cater for a number of tour companies including Kiwi Experience, Active NZ and Contiki
This is a multi-tasked role. Each morning you will be working in the housekeeping department cleaning and servicing all the rooms and associated areas within the complex then some evenings you would be waitress/waiting in the restaurant. If you have previous bar or kitchen experience we may look for you to help in these areas too.
You will be required to have the following:
Excellent customer service skills.
Experience in cleaning to a high standard in a timely manner.
Experience waiting on tables an advantage but if you don’t have the experience we might be able to find you extra hours helping the laundry team or additional cleaning hours either early morning or evenings.
Being a great team player and most importantly having a fun positive attitude.
Due to limited accommodation we are ideally looking for a couple or two friends who can share a room or if you have your own van you want to live in we can provide a parking spot.
