Receptionist/HousekeeperSeagulls Guesthouse Mount Maunganui / Bay of Plenty Hospitality / Service Paid position(Know your rights) 16.50 Experience in a similar role necessary.
SEAGULLS GUESTHOUSE is looking for a happy energetic person to help with several tasks in our 14 bedroom Guesthouse to start working with us on the 3rd October 2018.
Duties include: reception desk including check-ins, check-outs, bookings, guest questions and organisation of cleaning staff. Hands-on cleaning and housekeeping during busy days and when necessary.
You must be a people person, organized, punctual, able to manage other cleaning staff, have attention to detail with cleanliness (obsessive/compulsive preferred :)), be proactive, be able to work alone and have the ability to multitask with a “can do” attitude.
You need to be computer literate and have experience with booking systems.
We will prioritize people with previous experience in a similar role.
You MUST have an excellent command of the English language (verbal & written).
Work is 5 days a week from Wednesday to Sunday with a minimum of 30 hours per week and up to 38 hours. This includes weekends, so please apply only if you are able to work Saturdays and Sundays from 8am to 4pm.
We have a friendly, relaxed environment and take great pride in our levels of cleanliness and friendly customer service.
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa. We will only be considering people who are already in New Zealand.
This is a long term job, please only apply if you can commit to stay for at least 3 months. We prefer longer.
