Stephen Rolls Contracting Gisborne Farm work / Picking Paid position(Know your rights) $15.75+8% Holiday pay

Stephen Rolls Contracting is a horticultural contracting business based in Gisborne, a town with a population of around 35,000, on the East Coast of the North Island. We contract staff on various different orchards around the Poverty Bay area.

We have approximately 8 positions available for sweetcorn and maize detasseling. Start date will be between 3-8 January 2018, and the job will be for approximately 5 weeks.

Previous experience would be an advantage, however training will be provided.

Successful applicants will need to be honest, hardworking and reliable and be able to work as a team or independently unsupervised.

This position is a physically demanding job so applicants MUST be physically fit and healthy.

Own reliable transport would be good but not absolutely necessary. It is also recommended to have a good set of wet weather gear.

Applicants must be prepared to stay in Gisborne for at least 5 weeks, with the possibility of further work for the right people.

Applicants for this position must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa and be available to come to Gisborne for an interview before being offered a job.

Starting rate will be $15.75 plus 8% holiday pay. The job will be between 30-60 hours a week, 7 days a week, in all weather.
