Ground CrewSkydive Auckland Parakai / Auckland Tourism Paid position(Know your rights) $17.50 To be a suitable candidate for this role, you need to have a lively personality, enjoy talking to groups of people, experience using computers and be a quick learner. Customer service experience is a must, as is the desire to work with a energetic and fun team. We're weather dependent, the hours can be long some days and short the next, they range day to day, so you must be flexible. Due to stand-by requirements you must live a maximum of 50 minutes from Parakai. YOU MUST BE A NZ RESIDENT OR CITIZEN TO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION.
Skydive Auckland is the only skydiving operation in Auckland, and is also home to the New Zealand Skydiving School – all based at our purpose built facility in Parakai, West Auckland.
As a member of the ground crew team, you will be responsible for a range of duties including:
Greeting customers – Being warm and enthusiastic is a must while taking them through the electronic registration process
Product briefings – showcasing our awesome products (heights of skydives, camera options, merchandise). You’ve got to have the gift of the gab and be comfortable speaking to large groups.
Co-ordinating logistics – organising customers with instructors, efficient & timely loading of the aircraft.
Safety – abiding by Skydive Auckland’s proactive health & safety standards (in line with governing organisations)
Data entry – ensuring accurate data entry associated with the day-to-day running of the operation. Attention to detail is a must!
Communication – with management, instructors and other team members.
Equipment – harnessing customers for their skydive and catching tandems when they land – fitness is key!
