L’Epicerie “has a well established name in the town of Whakatane (Bay of Plenty) and aims to provide the best experience for his customers but also to his team members. We have two cafés in Whakatane and one based in Opotiki. We roast our own coffee, brew our beer, bake our bread, smoke our salmon and cheese and so on. 

Whakatane is a really cool town and NZ capital of sunshine. It’s a perfect spot to spend winter by NZ most popular beach -Ohope-

We are always looking for some entousiastic people to join our team as front of house, barista, or cook. The positions are a full time, no night shift (except special events). Applicants must be available to work on weekdays and weekends.

Few accommodations are available in Whakatane : backpackers / camping / flatmates.

Positions available :

–        Front of house : End of August

–        Cook : End of August

The successful candidates should have:

Knowledge or experience in French food 
Dynamic, motivated and common sense
The ability to work in a team
Speak English
Flexible and can do attitude 
A good level of physical fitness
You must have a good sense of humor and a great work ethic
You must already have a work visa / Working holiday visa to apply to this position
Be available for at least 3 months
