Demi Au Pair

Gaul Wakefield / Tasman / Nelson Au pair / Nanny Accommodation + Food(Know your rights) Limited experience required

We are a family of four looking for a Demi au pair to start anytime soon! We have a daughter of 10 years and a son of 8 years. Mum and dad work changeable hours each week so we would need someone for up to 20 hours a week. We require help with the morning routines and taking the kids to school and then again, collecting from school and activities before either mum or dad get home from work. We have one cat and a giant rabbit. As a family we enjoy swimming, spending time on the beach, playing cricket, riding our bikes, playing board games, and watching movies.

In return, we offer you your own room and shared bathroom with the children, food, free wifi, and access to the family car – private use can be negotiated. We will also pay you $100 a week “pocket money”. You will get the weekend off and one whole day during the week.

This position will suit someone who has a genuine love of children, loves a slower pace of life, outside of a big city and wants to explore the delights of the Nelson region. You will need a valid drivers license and experience of driving on NZ roads. We live in the beautiful village of Wakefield which is 15 mins from Richmond and 30 mins from Nelson.
