Dairy Farm Assistant

Keritapu Farm Near Cambridge / Waikato Farm work / Picking Accommodation + Pay(Know your rights) 20. Being able to ride a 2-wheeler motorbike confidently a must.

We are looking for a dairy farm assistant, to help out with milking and other day-to-day farm duties. This will likely also include bringing milking cows to the shed; washing down the milking shed after use; setting up fences; moving stock; and feeding calves. Previous experience would be a bonus but not absolutely necessary – we will provide training on the job. Hours of work are from 5am-5pm approximately, with good breakfast and lunch breaks. Being able to ride a 2-wheeler motorbike confidently is a must; along with having a full drivers license and your own vehicle (we are around 15km from town). Ideally we would like someone for a minimum of 3 months over the busy calving period; but could tailor the job to the applicant.
Accommodation includes a self-contained unit on the farm, which can be fully furnished if necessary.
