Duty Manager Assistant/cleaner

Oamaru Backpackers Oamaru / Otago Hospitality / Service Accommodation + Pay(Know your rights) $16.50 + 8% holiday pay Housekeeping experience a plus!

Job Summary:
We are seeking one person to help us with daily duties such as cleaning, check in/check out of guests, assisting with guest inquiries and taking bookings.
You would be working on a roster (usually 2 full days of 8 hours and 3-5 days per week cleaning shifts of 1,5 hours in the morning – afternoons you are free).

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
You should have a good level of English, some basic computer skills, a friendly outgoing personality and a sense of cleanliness.
Experience in housekeeping is a plus.

Job Type and Category:
This is mainly a work for accommodation exchange (live-in position)- the cost of accommodation will be deducted from your pay. Any hours worked above the hours for accommodation will be paid $16.50 + 8% holiday pay – so you must have a valid work visa, bank account and IRD number.
NZ work visa (working holiday visa) required.
