Au Pair

n/a Palmerston North / Wanganui / Manawatu Au pair / Nanny Accommodation + Pay(Know your rights) childcare experience

We are looking for someone to help us out with our two children aged 4 1/2 and 7 years old by picking them up and dropping them to kindergarten and school daily. The job also entails helping with the washing, dishes, tidying and cooking.

We are looking to find someone to start in January 2018, but we have some flexibility on start date for the right candidate.

We live near the school and kindergarten (10 minutes walk away) so while a driving license would be advantageous, it is not necessary. However you must be great with kids and fun!, have some childcare experience and be willing to play, go to the park, library etc with the kids (all walking distance away). Some cooking ability is also required (you don’t need to be a gourmet chef, but some ability in the kitchen and willingness to learn new recipes is a must!)

You will work for us about 25 hours a week and in return we will supply you with room and board, including 3 meals a day, 7 days a week, unlimited wi fi internet and $150 a week (that is directly to you, as we will pay your all of your tax obligations as well).

We are a friendly family who enjoys going for a walk, to the park, to the beach and would welcome an au pair as part of our family. We are well travelled and an experienced host family.
